Moving in together has always been the elephant in the room as a couple transitions from dating to something more serious. Men and women will use this situation as a litmus test for what a relationship really stands for. Of course not all will get the answers they want.

Going from just dating to living together is and always will be a tricky proposition. Whose apartment do you give up? What will happen to your loyal roommates? Who pays for the utilities? Do I get to keep my George Foreman Grill? Will my cat get along with your pit bull? Do we stop dating and just start hanging out? Is dating the same as hanging out?

It’s my opinion that As long as your communication lines are open none of these will end up hurting your relationship.
