If I had a dime for every time a female colleague, friend or relative voiced frustration over what her husband said to her the night before, I’d literally be rich. If you’d count the number of similar guy actions that also confuse and bewilder women, I’d double my money! I’ve met very few women (if any) who aren’t at one time or another perplexed by what comes out of their guy’s mouth. And yes, just in case you were wondering, I do (occasionally) include my wife in this group!

Oops…I almost forgot. Welcome to the first post on the CrackTheGuyCode blog! My name is Alan Bentley and I am a 37 year old husband, son, brother and father of two. I have been married to my wonderful wife for 15 years. We’ve been together for 18 years. We have two wonderful kids, Hannah, 7, and Alan III, 4.  I started this blog for women looking to improve their relationships…one guy at a time. So I guess this is for women, but about men. It’s my hope that you see my posts as a repository of “guy” info, a Man-U-Script, a Man-U-Al, a Man-I-Festo, a sounding board, and a guide to all things “mAle”.  And as for why I started this blog? You’ll just have to keep reading and see for yourself.

In the end, I hope to give the very best insight into what’s going on inside your guy’s head. Improbable? Impossible? Inconceivable? Why not see for yourself?
