Are Dating Sites Outdated?

Dating 2.0 defined or are members of Facebook just having too much sex?

Facebook seems to be scoring more and more these days…so to speak. Wait, I mean people are scoring more and more through Facebook! In the case of one medical report, Facebook users maybe scoring a little too much=)

No doubt men and women will be scoring more and more through Web 2.0 social media sites like Twitter, MySpace and even LinkedIn.

The question is will consenting adults use free social media websites over paid dating sites like eHarmony and even free sites like PlentyofFish?

Let me know your top 5 websites to meet Mr. Right.

    Wow looks like I’m the best one to answer this. Dating online via social networking sites is the wave of the future. I used to be a shy geek and became very determined at a young age to improve my chances of getting with quality women (in the late 90′s). I started with AOL chatrooms, friendster, migente, blackplanet and now myspace, facebook, plentyoffish, tagged, twitter and more. There is no “best” website. Each site has it’s own vices–particularly facebook ;)

    I have personally dated over 500 women from the net, so yes, social networking dating is a great way to meet people. Many of my now-ex girlfriends came from the net. I’ve met celebs (from the site in person), and also valued business partners.

    I used the techniques I’ve mastered to create 3 books entitled:

    * “From MySpace to My Place: The Men’s Guide to Snagging Women Online” ;
    * “From MySpace to My Place: The Ladies’ Guide to Finding Mr. Right or Mr. Right Now Online”; and
    * “The Facebook Datebook for Men”

    Check out these books and my techniques at:
