Dating Right May Be One Fewer Phone Call Away?

Uncategorized

A great article in Sunday’ Chicago Tribune (get yours while they’re still in business) talked about the key to the good life.

Stocks and bonds?

No.

A good education for your kids?

No.

Winning the lottery?

No.

A job?

No.

An offer to buy your condo?

Not that either!

The newest, coolest, fastest all in one gadget ever?

Definitely not this one and here’s why. It turns out that Americans are addicted to their phones in all their “all in one glory.” We are addicted so much that nothing get’s done while we answer our emails, text our friends, watch TV, track the stock market crash and yes even talk on our phones!

If you walk down the street or better yet the sidewalk look around. Your neighbors are on their phones while driving, mowing, gardening, washing. It used to be that someone talking to thin air in their car was considered crazy and you stayed away from them. Now you stay away from them because they might run you over!

Newspaper reporter, Anne Stein, and author Anne D. LeClaire goes further to say that the key to happiness might just be…unplugging from the gadgets that chain you. I you were reading this while driving and then accidentally drove off a cliff, please forgive me for I do not condone web browsing while driving!
