Great video from Your Tango!

Apparently in Australia, all able bodied single men have their choice of young single women. Why settle down to the table when the buffet line is never ending?

If this video makes you angry, I’d ask you to calm down and think about what you’re seeing. These men all look reasonable right? They look employed, well dressed, and reasonably well spoken. They don’t look like they just got out of jail and there were no tattoos visible so I’m assuming these men are well adjusted and giving us their honest and heartfelt opinions on dating.

I’d submit that these men are not trying to be mean or nasty, they are simply following the marching orders inside their brain.

Consider this. The numbers show that college professors have a much higher rate of divorce than men in other professions. Could it be that their exposure to young women at the peak of their reproductive age is just to enticing?

Put these together and you have a preliminary case for the male mind being wired to react in certain ways.

With all this being said, I’ve never seen the point to speed dating or any other situation where you put yourself in line with dozens or even hundreds of other women. I’ve been privy to some research on speed dating and know that relationships coming out of this kind of dating (much less weddings) are far and few between.
